HERE IS THE TUTORIAL:

You will need the following materials:

• 8 sheets of colored or double-sided paper in 4 different colors, measuring 12 by 16 cm
• A4 white paper sheet
• a pencil
• a ruler
• duct tape
• scissors
• glue
• alcohol markers (choose colors as desired)

STEP 1 of how to make Magic Cube with Alphabet Lore

Take a paper sheet measuring 12 by 16 cm

In our tutorial, we used origami paper with one side colored and the other white

Flip the sheet over so it is white side up

Using a ruler and pencil, divide the sheet of paper with lines into equal squares measuring 4 cm by 4 cm

Cut the sheet of paper along the dashed lines with scissors, as shown in the pictures below

This is how it should look like

Now, you have to fold the just-cut paper sheet in the shape of a cube

Fold it along the dashed lines as shown in the images below

Rotate the sheet by 180 degrees and make the same action with another edge

STEP 2 of how to make Magic Cube with Alphabet Lore

Now, you have to give the shape of the cube to the just-cut and folded piece of paper

To do this, you will need to use duct tape

Tape the faces of the cube to each other with duct tape as shown in the images below

This is how it should look like

Make seven more of these same paper cubes, repeating the previously shown steps, so that you have a total of 8 pieces

Note, that you have to make two cubes of each color

Choose the colors you like the most or use our color combination

STEP 3 of how to make Magic Cube with Alphabet Lore

Now you have to connect together cubes of the same color

Place the two cubes of the same color side by side and tape them together with duct tape

This is shown in the images below

Note that you have to tape the cubes to each other with duct tape from both sides

This is necessary to connect the cubes safely to each other

Do the same action with the remaining cubes

Tape the cubes of the same color to each other using duct tape

Place the cubes on the surface and tape them together as shown in the images below

STEP 4 of how to make Magic Cube with Alphabet Lore

Lift the right edge upwards as shown in the picture below

Tape the cubes in the indicated places with duct tape

Do the same action with the left edge

Lift the left edge upwards and tape the cubes in the same way

This is shown in the picture below

Make sure that the cubes are securely connected to each other

STEP 5 of how to make Magic Cube with Alphabet Lore

Place the cubes on the surface as shown in the image below

Make marks in the form of numbers on the faces of the cubes with an alcohol marker

Change the position of the cubes’ faces as shown in the images below

Make marks with numbers “3” and “4” on the faces in the same way as shown earlier

Keep changing the faces of the cubes by transforming them

Make a mark with the number “5” on the cube’s faces in the same way as shown earlier

Keep changing the faces of the cubes by transforming them

Make marks with numbers “6” and “7” on the faces of the cubes in the same way as shown earlier

Keep changing the faces of the cubes by transforming them

Make marks with numbers “8” and “9” on the faces of the cubes in the same way

Keep changing the faces of the cubes by transforming them

Make a mark with the number “10” on the faces in the same way

STEP 6 of how to make Magic Cube with Alphabet Lore

Cut out 10 pieces of white paper measuring 8 by 8 cm

Each piece of paper will need to be glued to the faces of the cubes marked with the same numbers later

Now, it’s time to add the finishing touches to the Magic Cube

Let’s decorate it with the Alphabet Lore symbols

You may do it as you like or use our decoration style

Cut the sheet into four equal squares

This is shown in the picture below

Glue the pieces of a just-cut paper sheet to the faces of the cubes

Note, you should glue the parts of the just-cut sheet to the faces with the same numbers

Prepare nine more Alphabet Lore symbols and glue them to the faces of the cubes in the same way
