How to make Paper Dinosaur Mask

✂️ Materials You’ll Need:
  • A4 thick paper sheets
  • scissors
  • glue stick
  • hot glue gun
  • rubber bands
  • paper clips (2 pcs)

Take an A4 sheet of paper. You can also use cardboard for better durability. Draw the outline of a dinosaur’s head as shown in the image below. You’ll need two identical pieces.

Cut them out using scissors.

Now take a piece of leftover paper and draw the shape as shown below. Cut out two identical shapes.

Glue these pieces to the lower part of the mask using a glue stick, as shown in the images below.

In this step, you’ll need two paper clips. Make a hole at the top part of each head piece, and insert a paper clip through it. This will allow the top and bottom parts of the mask to move.

Repeat this process for the second half of the mask.

Don’t forget that you need to attach both sides of the mask with paper clips.

Cut a square piece of paper and place it under the paper clip from the inside of the mask. Apply glue, then fold the paper over to completely cover the clip. This helps prevent injury during use.

Cut another square piece of paper and glue it over the outside of the clip. Make sure the top and bottom parts of the mask can still move freely. Repeat the same for the other part of the mask.

Cut two paper strips shaped as shown in the illustration. Take a rubber band, place it between the ends of the strip, apply glue, and press the ends together. Do the same with the second strip.

Trim the ends.

Glue the rubber strap section to the inner side of the mask.

Take two A4 sheets and mark the shapes shown in the image below. Cut out the pieces and use them to connect the left and right sides of the mask.

Cut a rectangular piece of paper and roll it into a tube. Glue the end to secure the shape. Then glue both ends of the tube and attach it inside the mask. This helps reinforce the structure.

Cut a strip of paper, apply glue, fold it in half, and press the two sides together. Then glue one end of the strip to the top part of the mask.

Cut another strip and apply glue. Place the rubber band on top of the glued area, fold the strip in half, and secure it tightly.

Now cut two square pieces of paper, apply glue to them, and use them to secure the ends of the rubber band on the inside of the mask by folding and pressing.

Cut two rectangular pieces of cardboard and glue them together. Then attach the piece to the bottom of the mask for added stability.
